SWEGIS introduces GeoWebShare 3.0 - with Metadata edition!
Since 2000 SWEGIS has developed a platform (GeoWebShare) for Geodata- and Metadataportals.
The public interest for geoportals has in recent years increased thanks to new initiatives like INSPIRE, OGC etc
With version 3.0 of GeoWebShare, SWEGIS now introduces a new metadata edition called Metadataportal.
GeoWebShare and Metadataportal are essentially the same software.
The only difference is that Metadataportal has no ability to upload or download data.
With version 3.0 we now introduce two major features.
Support for metadata in XML-format, e.g. ISO 19115
Metadata can now be uploaded and downloaded using XML standards such as ISO 19115.
Complete .Net Web Service interface
This interface makes it easy for other software developers to interact with GeoWebShare.

ASP MapServices has now moved to a new better environment at the ISP Euronet Online.
