Sample Script

This page contains some sample scripts that use Analysis Extension. Note that SWEGIS takes no
responsibility for their functionality. There will be more scripts added as
I write them. I also encourage you to send me your own scripts that use the extension.
This will hopefully help other users to get the most out of the extension.

Calculate line density.
|
This sample script calculates line-density on for example a road- or stream- theme. A
grid with a user-specified cellsize is generated over the line-theme and
each cell gets an attribute representing the total length of the lines it contains. This script
uses functionality from Analysis Extension.

Grid Wizard.
|
|
This sample script simplifies the creating of a grid over a certain theme. After
selecting a cell size, a grid that covers the entire theme is generated.

Buffer with predefined distance.
|
|
This sample script shows how you can automate the buffer command to use the same
buffer distance every time the buffer operation is performed. In this case are the distance
50 used.

Join and dissolve.
|
|
This sample script shows how you can automate the mapjoin and dissolve operation. The user can specify any number of themes that shall be joined. When the themes are joined the user will be prompt to specify which field that shall be used as a dissolve field.

Rotates all themes in a view.
|
|
This sample script shows how you can automate the rotate command to rotate all themes in
a view around the same point. In this case the themes are rotated 45.5 degrees around
the first themes center, but this can easily be modified.
