PointMatcher Extension

This extension lets you match points in one theme against points
in another point theme. The match is done by a manual choice that the user
makes based on one or two attributes from both tables. This is either done
manually by clicking at the point that shall be matched or semi-automatic
by letting the extension go through all points in a theme.
This script was originally made to match points that where geocoded by address,
to building with know address. It can however be used to match any type of points
since the user makes the actual decision.

MakeCrosspoints.zip
|
Creates a theme with the cross-points from a line-theme, that is a point theme with the points
representing a place where more than two polylines connect.
Each point in the out-theme gets one attribute, the number of connecting polylines.
This script was originally made to locate actual road crossings in a road theme. A road crossing
is in this case defined as a place where more then two roads are meeting.
This script is useful when the attributes for a polyline has been lost somewhere due to some
editing. You can then use this script to pick up the attributes from the original theme again.

GetIntervalCount.zip
|
|
This script counts the number of occurrences in each interval specified by the user. This is done
for each unique class in a field that the user specifies. For further information see
GetIntervallCount.doc (Word97) in the zip-file.

Flipline.zip
|
|
Changes direction of the selected polylines in the active theme. Attach this script to a button
in the view for convenient polyline direction editing.

Disperse.zip
|
|
Disperses overlapping points in a point-theme. The points are spread evenly in a very small
circle (0.1 map units) around the location where overlapping points was found.

CopyLineAttribute.zip
|
|
Copies attributes from one line-theme to another. The attributes are only copied in
those cases where the target line has an overlapping line in the source theme. If
more then one line in the source theme intersect with the target line, then the
attributes are copied from the line that intersect the most. That is the line
that it shares most vertex with.

Adds some extra zoom tools to the popup menu.

centroid.zip
|
|
Creates a theme with centroids for the selected polygons in the active theme.

backup.zip

|
Backs up the current project with the same name, but the last two letters are replaced with "bk".

Converts grid theme to a point theme. The task takes considerable time to perform, but it works OK.

The DocWriter Extension

docwriter.zip
|
|
Gives ArcView GIS the capability to save and retrieve any documents
(view, layout etc.) from disk. The documents are saved in ODB files that
easily can be opened in any project.

Removes duplicate objects in a feature theme. This script works on all shape
types (poly, polyline, point, and multipoint). A new shapefile without the
duplicated objects are generated.
